Revify vs Vagaro for tattoo shops

Revify vs Vagaro.
Side by side, facts only.

Vagaro serves salons, spas and fitness. Revify is built tattoo-first. Plans, add-ons and payments compared, as of October 1, 2026.

The comparison

Revify vs Vagaro: what this covers.

If you are comparing Revify vs Vagaro, you are looking at two different kinds of tools. Vagaro is business software for salons, spas, barbers, fitness studios and tattoo studios, from booth renters to multi-location businesses.

It includes booking, a point of sale, a consumer marketplace and its own card processing through Vagaro Merchant Services. Revify pairs InkedIn Tools, the booking app built by tattooers, with Revify Payments for card payments at the counter.

This page covers what each one offers, how the pricing is put together and who each one tends to fit. We checked Vagaro's public pricing page, card processing page, support article on plans and tattoo shop page on October 1, 2026. Pricing changes, so confirm the details on each provider's site.

Two different starting points

Vagaro is built to serve many kinds of appointment businesses, and it has a page for tattoo shop software. Its base plan is priced by the number of calendars, with paid add-ons for extra features.

Revify is tattoo-first, not tattoo-only. It was co-founded by tattoo shop owners, including a co-founder of Made To Last Tattoo, and it is based in Charlotte, NC. InkedIn Tools is part of Revify, so booking and payments work together, with the deposit at booking and the balance at checkout on the same system.

Pricing

What each one costs.

Vagaro and Revify build their pricing differently. Vagaro starts with a base plan and lets you add features. InkedIn Tools has one price with every feature included.

Vagaro software pricing

Per Vagaro's pricing page on October 1, 2026, prices for one location are set by the number of calendars. These are introductory prices for the first 6 months, with the regular price in parentheses:

  • Just Me (1 calendar): $23.99/mo ($30)
  • 2 calendars: $33.99/mo ($40)
  • 3 calendars: $43.99/mo ($50)
  • 4 calendars: $53.99/mo ($60)
  • 5 calendars: $63.99/mo ($70)
  • 6 calendars: $73.99/mo ($80)
  • 7+ calendars: $83.99/mo ($90)

Multi-location pricing is through Vagaro's sales team. Vagaro lists paid add-ons in the US, including Forms for consent and waivers at $10/mo, the MySite website at $20/mo, the Online Shopping Cart for online deposits and cancellation fees at $10/mo, and text marketing from $20/mo for 1,000 credits.

Vagaro card processing

Per Vagaro's card processing page, Vagaro Merchant Services charges small merchants processing under $4,000 a month 2.6% + 10¢ for dip or tap, 3.5% + 19¢ for keyed payments, plus 6¢ for Tap to Pay, with no monthly cost.

Merchants processing over $4,000 a month pay 2.29% + 19¢ and $10/mo. The free card reader comes with a 12-month processing commitment, or a $150 early cancellation fee.

Revify pricing

  • InkedIn Tools, $99/month, every feature included, with a 14-day free trial. Online booking, deposits, consent forms, website builder, email marketing and QuickBooks sync are all part of that price.
  • InkedIn Tools at $0/month when your shop processes at least $10,000 a month with Revify Payments, a $1,188 a year value.
  • Revify Payments, $0/month, with a free terminal while you process with Revify, next-day funding and no long-term contract.

How dual pricing works

Revify Payments uses dual pricing, which is a different model from a per-transaction rate. Your shop posts a cash price and a card price. Both show on every receipt, and the client chooses how to pay.

Revify sets up dual pricing to card-network rules, along with the signage, receipts and terminal. On card sales, your shop earns up to 0.75% Monthly Cash-back, paid monthly. See pricing or estimate your earnings in the savings calculator.

Fit

Who each one fits.

The right tool depends on what kind of business you run and which features you need.

Vagaro can be a good fit if

  • You run a multi-service business, like a shop that also offers hair, nails, spa or fitness services.
  • You want to be listed on a consumer marketplace where clients search for local businesses.
  • You are a solo artist who only needs one calendar and wants a low starting price.
  • You operate several locations and want one system across them.
  • You want to pick and pay for only the add-ons you use.

Revify can be a good fit if

  • You want software built around tattoo work: long sessions, reference images stored with the booking, deposits at booking and consent signed before the client sits.
  • You want every booking feature at one price, with no add-ons to track.
  • You want to post a cash price and a card price, and earn up to 0.75% Monthly Cash-back on card sales.
  • You want a free terminal while you process with Revify, next-day funding and no long-term contract.
  • Your shop processes $10,000 or more a month in card sales, so InkedIn Tools is $0 a month.

Revify vs Vagaro for a tattoo shop

For a shop that only does tattoos and piercing, the main questions are which features you need on day one and how you want card payments priced. With Vagaro, a tattoo shop that wants consent forms, online deposits and a website would add those to the base plan.

With InkedIn Tools, they are included, along with one inbox for Instagram DMs, Facebook, texts and email, aftercare and review requests and missed-call text-back. Read more on the consent forms and tattoo deposits pages.
